We contribute to #stayathome

The Coronacrises forces us all to come up with creative solutions for everyday tasks. For team meetings, we have now launched several Jitsi Meet instances that allow encrypted team meetings in the form of audio, video and chat to be held over the Internet without registration, free of charge!

TL;DR

Click here for the free web video conference tool (Jitsi Meet), for the short operating instructions in text form here (will follow).

Jitsi Meet is an open source project that includes several components such as video streaming, voice and text chat. All you need to connect to Jitsi is a current web browser, such as Firefox, Chrome, or Opera, as well as a webcam and microphone (often built into USB webcams).

For mobile users, the free Jitsi Meet app can be downloaded from the respective app store.

Note: The mobile Jitsi app is set to jitsi.org by default. You must therefore enter the following in the settings (accessible via the main menu) via Conference-> Server URL to be able to connect to our service:
https://meeting.k8s.logit-systems.de

This service is hosted on specially provided servers in Germany and is available to everyone who wants to use it free of charge at meeting.k8s.logit-systems.de.

Please understand that we offer this service out of solidarity and that even with the greatest efforts on our part, we cannot guarantee how long and for how many simultaneous accesses we can provide it.

To prevent attempts of misuse, the document share function is not activated in these instances. Only audio and video as well as the chat function are available.

You can find the entire terms of use at www.logit-systems.de/impress.
